The plot is set on Mumbai’s Dharavi & Dhanush characters and revolves around how a ‘BIGGER’ turns into ‘POWERFUL MAFIA DON, and his performance is said to be the film’s highlight. The teaser is also ready, which can be expected soon. Nagarjuna reportedly Plays the investigation officer role.
The viral first-look video of Kubera starts with the portraits of Lord Shiva and goddess Lakshmi. The sparks that flow from the burning wood gradually introduce Dhanush, who is looking at the picture. Kubera is the name of the Hindu god of wealth, who is also the king of Yakshas. In the video, the actor looks at the portrait of goddess Lakshmi and lord Shiva, who later receives grains in a bowl from the Goddess.

The sources claim that the film was tilted after the slums of Mumbai and is said to be based on actual events centring on Dharavi. The makers plan to wrap up the shoot for the movie by mid-April, after which Dhanush will quickly move on to the release of Raayan.
Due to Dhanush’s craze and his teaming up with reliable director Sekhar Kammula, whose films are quite popular amongst the NRIs, the presence of Nagarjuna also has to happen with the ‘national crush’ Rashmika Mandanna. Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao bankroll the movie. Niketh Bommi cranks the camera work, while Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre handle the production design.
Devi Sri Prasad gives the movie’s music. Simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu, Kubera will mark the second film of the actor in the Telugu industry after Sir in 2023.
