We had earlier reported that STR is set to collaborate with director Desingh Periyasamy for his upcoming film tentatively titled “STR 48.” The makers of this upcoming film are looking for a Bollywood actress as the female lead. Soon, the makers are in touch with Bollywood long-legged lady Deepika Padukone and offered a female lead opposite STR.
But, the actress is reportedly quoting a fee that is three times higher than what the makers initially expected. Known for her talent and popularity, Deepika’s involvement in the project has generated significant buzz.
Desingh Periyasamy, who gained recognition for his debut film “Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal,” is excited to work with Deepika Padukone. Her inclusion in the film adds a new dimension and raises expectations for the project. The film is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Film International.
