According to reports, Hugh Jackman won’t be the only original X-men to join Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool in his MCU debut. Speculation is rife that James Marsden, Famke Janssen, and Halle Berry would return as Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm respectively. The news was shared by insider @CanWeGetToast.However, the news remains unconfirmed as of now.
Deadpool 3 is helmed by Shawn Levy. It is being written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells from a previous draft by Bob’s Burgers duo Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin. The film will also see Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Stefan Kapičić as Colossus. Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen have also joined the cast in undisclosed roles.
Deadpool 3 is set to hit theatres on November 8, 2024.
