Our Pyaari Bindu is now engaged! It’s already been 4 days and yet, we’re talking about it like it was just minutes ago. From saying ‘I never want to date a politician’ to holding hands with a politician for life, Parineeti Chopra, the famous Bollywood actress showed us that life, indeed, is unpredictable. Although she got trolled a bit for that interview clip, it faded amidst all the love and hearty greetings that she was blanketed with. There had been rumours about their engagement even before it was announced. Apparently, the paparazzi did their job right. A series of posts on Pari’s Instagram is now dedicated to her engagement photographs.
Today, we find her head covered with a beautiful, embroidered dupatta, Raghav Chadha by her side and the rest of their families sitting behind them in a Gurudwara in Delhi. As the caption says, this took place in Akal Takht Sahib (Delhi) with the Jathedaar about whom she says, “his sacred presence meant everything to us.”

In the third slide, we see a man in red at the back wiping his tears. That’s Pari’s father. Only his dearest daughter’s happy married life can make a father cry. Shivang Chopra in the comments says, “A casual Papa tearing up in the background is the highlight.”
For the unversed, Ardaas is a prayer held at the end of a ceremony to seek blessings from the Guru in the Sikh tradition. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, both Punjabis, decided to conclude this special day, by seeking blessings in the Gurudwara.
