Indian playback singer Altamash Faridi debuted as a performer in 2010. He was born on August 17, 1989, in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He was the 2009 winner of the musical reality series Close-up Performer winner, which was broadcast on Doordarshan. He competed against many other contenders to win the honor, for which he was given a financial prize of one lakh rupees and a singing contract with Rajshri Production worth ten lakh rupees.
Later that year, he appeared as a singing superstar on Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. He made it to the top 18 competitors while playing in the sibling combo, Sajid-Wajid. In 2010, he and Wajid Khan made their debut as playback singers for the comedy-thriller “No Trouble.” He has now started working on other projects. It was known that he had a soulful voice.
