Blake Lively issued a statement and removed a social media post that appeared to mock Kate Middleton after the Princess of Wales revealed she has cancer.
The actresss took to her Instagram Story and wrote,”I’m sure no one cares today, but I feel like I have to address this. I posted a foolish post during the ‘photoshop failures’ hysteria, and wow, that post makes me cringe today. I apologize. Sending love and well wishes to everyone, always.”
The Hollywood actress recently joined other celebrities in attacking Kate Middleton’s decision to stay out of the public eye, as conspiracy theories spread over the internet.
The rumour mill went into action when the Palace posted a photo of Kate and her children for Mother’s Day, but there were several Photoshop issues, prompting many fans to question whether it was a genuine photo.
