The Kerala Story movie with Adah Sharma in the lead role appeared in front of the audience a few days before and became a blockbuster hit. This movie earned a gross of two hundred crores in the long run. However, there has been strong opposition to this film. Especially Muslim communities with secular ideologies came out against The Kerala Story movie.
They worried that there is no concept of love Jihad and that it is incorrect to take one or two incidents that happened somewhere and spread them to the entire Muslim community. But the BJP has given full support to The Kerala Story film. In some states, even tax concessions are given. It registered as the biggest hit movie in the career of Adah Sharma, who played the lead role in the movie.
In a recent interview, she shared the unique features of The Kerala Story Movie. On this occasion, she reacted interestingly to the criticism of the film. Kamal Haasan especially made negative comments on The Kerala Story in the past. He commented that he does not watch such promotional films as they are not real stories.
Responding to this, Adah Sharma, marking all those who criticised The Kerala Story movie, said that they did so without watching it. She said that no one would have made such criticism if they had seen the movie. She said the girls’ sufferings were shown as part of the story.
“In our country, anyone can talk about anyone. I like this country because India has the freedom to express different tastes. So I feel they made a few people make such comments on the film”, she added. Adasharma’s comments have now gone viral on social media.
