Jude Anthany Joseph’s directorial ‘2018: Everyone Is A Hero’ has impressed the audience and critics with the excellent performance by the star cast, direction and music. The movie depicts the devastating 2018 floods in Kerala and how people came together to survive this natural calamity. ‘2018’ is still running in theatres, however, as per reports, the movie will release on OTT in June 2023.
‘2018’ continues to rock the box offices. The film collected 50 crores within seven days of its release. 25 crores from Kerala, 2.3 crores from other states of India and 28.15 overseas. The global collection so far is 55.6 crores. The film has a record collection in Australia and UK.
According to reports, SonyLiv has bagged the OTT rights of 2018′ and the movie is expected to release on OTT by June 9, 2023.
