According to early estimates, the action-packed movie raked in an impressive Rs. 4.25 crore nett on its opening day. This is a poor start for a movie, given the star cast and big-budget film. However, filmmakers Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre’s movie hit the silver screen on March 15 and opened to a good response from both critics and audiences alike.
It can be understood that people’s anticipation for Yodha is low compared with Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan, which was released last week and is still going strong at theatres, minting Rs 82 crores at the box office and has already grossed Rs 100 crores worldwide.
Yodha, however, stands at the fifth-highest Bollywood opening in 2024 on its first day, collecting Rs 4.2 crore, with the film recording an overall 13.86% occupancy in Hindi theatres on Friday, March 15, 2024.
