“Operation Valentine” is a bilingual Telugu-Hindi film starring Varun Tej as an Indian Air Force pilot and Manushi Chhillar as a radar officer. Mega Prince Varun Tej starrer Operation Valentine is the latest action-thriller written and directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada.
After the movie hit the screens, a section of the moviegoers opined that Operation Valentine could have been even more impactful but, at the same time, could not be ignored. A little extra budget could’ve made the movie much better regarding quality output.

Reportedly, Varun Tej and Manushi Chhillar starrer Operation Valentine has been made of a whopping ₹ 45 crore, with almost five crore spent solely on the CGI (computer-generated imagery) work. While the main lead, Varun Tej, was paid Rs 6 crores for the film, the female lead, Manushi Chillar, was paid Rs 3 crores.
Despite several delays in its release, Operation Valentine has finally hit the theatres and received a decent response from the audience. After the movie Operation Valentine’s release, despite critical acclaim for the filmmaker and the actors, the movie is commercially heading nowhere in the right direction.

Operation Valentine Plot
Operation Valentine is based on the Balakot airstrike of 2019. The airstrike on February 26 was the retaliation of the Indian defense forces against the Pulwama attack of February 14, 2019. In the attack, over 40 Indian CRPF personnel were killed. The Indian defense forces’ vehicles were attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber in the Pulwama district.
Operation Valentine follows the lives of the Indian Air Force personnel and how they operate in their day-to-day lives. While it is based on the country’s biggest airstrike, it also focuses on the emotional balance the IAF officers must maintain during their missions.
Operation Valentine OTT Release Date
After its theatrical release, Operation Valentine will be released on the OTT platform, “Amazon Prime Video”.
