December’s third week has been intense for the fans, with the two biggest stars of the Indian film industry clashing at theatres with their huge-scale projects, and despite the stiff competition, both went on to become successful at the box office.
Prabhas’s Salaar, helmed by Prashanth Neel, has minted 100 crores on the opening day and has been unstoppable at the box office, shattering a few box office records despite competing with SRK’s Dunki.
Salaar collected over Rs 300 crore at the box office, while Dunki is inching closer to the 200 crore mark by the end of the year. Salaar minted Rs 10 crore on its 8th day, while Dunki garnered around Rs 7.25 crore.
Salaar collected over Rs 550 Cr and domestically Rs 310 Cr while Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is estimated to earn over 320 crore globally. Both films are the first collaborations between the actor and director duo. Both the films are playing at the theatres near you.
