Karan Johar takes a dig at Mannara and Munawar’s friendship

Bigg Boss 17 is the seventeenth season of television’s biggest reality show, which premiered on October 15, 2023. Salman Khan is hosting the show for the fourteenth time now, but for this weekend of this season, Karan Johar will replace Salman Khan on Weekend Ka Vaar.

Mannara Chopra and Munawar Faruqi are the two contestants in the house who have maintained a strong friendship since the first week of the show and grabbed the audience’s attention with the little bit of concern they showed for each other in the house.

There were fights between the buddies two weeks before because the housemates misunderstood their bond, but both discussed it and sorted out the issue. Munawar also takes a stand for Mannara whenever she gets into a fight. We have also seen Mannara getting insecure as Munawar makes new friends in the house. Mannara also complained to other housemates that Munawar was not giving her enough time.

In the recently released promo for the show, we see Karan schooling Mannara. Karan said Mannara only wanted validation of friendship in this house. He called her out for not taking a stand for Munawar when Anurag nominated him. Karan said, “Is this friendship? According to me, it’s hypocrisy.” He added, “It’s called having double standards.” Let’s hope both friends resolve their issues again and go strong.

Munawar Faruqui and Mannara Chopra were the first two contestants to enter Bigg Boss 17. Mannara’s bubbly personality and Munawar’s fun side got the two close to one another, and they became good friends in the first few days of the show and are always seen together. Fans also came up with the name “Munnar” because of the nice bond they share with each other.
