Salman Khan talks about Antim and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan’s failure!

Salman Khan is basking in the success of Tiger 3 despite three consecutive box office flops. He has tasted failure with Antim, Radhe, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan as well. Here’s what he has to say about the failure of his films.

In a rare interview, actor Salman Khan addressed his most recent box office failures, Antim: The Final Truth and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Salman is currently enjoying the success of his film Tiger 3, which is expected to cross the 450 crore mark at the global box office. Speaking of his previous two flops, the actor believes that both Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Antim would have done better if they had been released now.

According to the Indian Express, Salman Khan told the press, “When these films (Antim: The Final Truth and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan) were released, people were not going to the theaters.” Furthermore, we did not go for blockbuster prices, but rather for popular prices. Our box office numbers in those films were lower, but we were more concerned with saving the audience’s money. How much did you pay to see Tiger 3? ₹600, 1000?”

Salman went on to say that he made certain that the money of the audience did not go to waste by keeping his films at reasonable prices. “Our prices for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Antim were not more than 250.” Bhai, ek toh acha karo. Audiences ka paisa bach humare number kam aa rahe hai (We earned less, but we saved the audiences money in that process. We did a good deed). If Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan would have released today, the numbers would have been a lot more than what they were.”
