Dr. Romantic features Han Suk-kyu, Yoo Yeon-Seok, Seo Hyun-jin, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Sung-kyoung, and Kim Joo-hun. The drama is directed, by Yoo In-Shik and Kang Bo-Seung. Recently the drama obtained a 14.4 TRP rating acquiring the 2nd position in the June drama ratings.
The drama has been doing great since the release of the 1 st episode. Recently it was reported that the drama has received massive viewership from all across the globe. While The Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1983 starring Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, Kim Bum, Hwang Hee, and Kim Yong Ji, dropped to 5.0. According to the Korean Media ratings three dramas took the top 3 place since the release.
Doctor Cha acquired the name of the top-rated drama by obtaining 14.7 TRP. The drama features Uhm Jung Hwa and Kim Byung Chul.
