Dynamic director Puri Jagannath utterly failed to impress the audience with his recent outing ‘Liger’ starring Vijay Devarakonda. The movie became the biggest disaster at the box office. Puri Jagannath who also bankrolled this project faced so many issues with the distributors and buyers because of the huge losses. All the controversies regarding the collections of the movie as well as the losses hugely dented the image of Puri Jagannath. The director who stood silent for a couple of months is now all set to come up with his next movie. Puri Jagannath joined hands with young hero Ram Pothineni for his upcoming movie.
The movie is going to mark the much-awaited second collaboration of Puri Jagannath and Ram Pothineni after the super hit “,iSmart Shankar’. Now, the duo are said to be coming up with a sequel for this movie and will also announce the title as “Double iSmart’. Touted to be a powerful action entertainer, the makers are planning to launch the movie officially very soon. On the other hand, the makers have already released a poster claiming that the movie will get released on March 8 next year. The budget of the movie has now become one of the hot topics in the industry. According to the buzz, Puri Jagannath is investing 40 crores in the budget of the film. The director has already faced huge losses with Liger but he is still managing to come up with a high budget for his next movie as well. We have to wait and see how far this budget is going to work out for the film.
