Lizzo celebrated her birthday on social media on Thursday, April 27 by wishing herself a happy birthday.
The singer posted a video of herself blowing out the candles on a marbled birthday cake with a picture of her face framed in thick gold icing and wrote, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZZO,” below it. She pushed TikTok even further by arrogantly stating, “IF 26.9 MILLION PEOPLE DONT WISH ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY IM QUITTING.”
In addition to sharing the same happy occasion video from her Instagram, Lizzo also performed her own song “Birthday Girl” from 2022 over the film on TikTok. She happily sang, “Is it your birthday, girl?/ ‘Cause you lookin’ like a present.” Given that she also utilized the song to celebrate her birthday and the beginning of the Taurus season in 2022, it turns out that the song is a dependable perennial for the hitmaker.
Many of the singers of “Grrrls”‘ well-known friends joined the celebration in the comments. In a birthday message, Chlöe Bailey wrote, “Happy birthday beautiful,” and her younger sister Halle Bailey echoed the same words.
