Boney Kapoor Confirms No Entry 2: Anees Bazmee Reacts

Boney Kapoor shares No Entry 2 Cast

Adding to the excitement, producer Boney Kapoor disclosed that the actors will be romancing not one, not two, but ten heroines in the film. They plan to kick off the movie by the end of the year. During the promotion of Maidaan, Boney Kapoor told to a media outlet, “All the names said are true. They are the ones playing the part [in the film]. Let’s hope things work out well and it is as interesting and fun as No Entry 1. The script is fabulous. All I can say is this script is funnier than the first one.”

He added, “The actresses will be new. Since the entire star cast has changed, this film would have 10 actresses. Actresses aren’t finalised yet.” Boney said that the actors and the director Anees Bazmee are finalised for the project. Meanwhile, casting for actresses is underway.

Anees Bazmee On No Entry 2

In a recent interview, Bazmee, who will be directing the No Entry sequel, mentioned that Boney and Anil’s fight is “news” to him too. He argued that he was unable to talk to Boney Kapoor about it but added that it is “natural” for Anil to be upset.

“This is news to me. Thodi bahut naraazgi hogi,” Anees Bazmee said as quoted by Hindustan Times. “I haven’t been able to speak to Boney ji as I was busy shooting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” the filmmaker continued.

The original No Entry starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitly. However, Anil will not be a part of the film’s sequel which will have Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor. Therefore, Bazmee argued that it is obvious of Anil Kapoor to feel sad. “No Entry (2005) was an important film. Agar uske sequel mein nahin hain toh naturally aadmi ko hurt hoga,” Bazmee added but explained that “Boney ji must have had his reasons, too.”

However, Anees Bazmee also mentioned he is sure that the two brothers will reconcile soon. “They are brothers… Tomorrow they will meet and hug each other. They both love each other,” he said.

With the stage set for a fresh interpretation of the much-loved comedy, anticipation is running high for No Entry 2. Released in 2005, the original film is a comedy of errors that revolves around the characters of Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan and Anil Kapoor’s escapades and the chaos that ensues when their lives intersect.

Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn. Based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, the film will release on Eid 2024.
