27 Censor Cuts For Superstar’s Film Make Heads Turn

Akshay Kumar, the renowned Bollywood actor, is currently facing a crucial phase in his career as he seeks a much-needed commercial hit. Unfortunately, his recent films have failed to perform well at the box office, making the success of his upcoming movie “OMG 2,” the sequel to the blockbuster “OMG,” even more significant.

The film is all set for release on August 11th and has wrapped up the customary censorship formalities. However, it is facing a few controversies.

According to the latest updates, the censor board has imposed a substantial number of changes, precisely 27, to the final version of “OMG 2”. This indicates notable scrutiny and modifications made before the film’s release.

It appears that “OMG 2,” starring a superstar like Akshay Kumar, deviates from the usual pattern of commercial films featuring superstars, as it faced many changes from the censor board.

Some of these changes are related to Hindu gods and imagery, which is understandable given the film’s premise revolves around a conflict between man and god, similar to its prequel.
