Koffee With Karan is a talk show where most of the audience is excited to see what’s brewing in the Indian film industry. KWK is a talk show hosted by filmmaker and producer Karan Johar. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh graced the show with the first episode. Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan were the celebrities on the couch last week.
In the upcoming episode, Bollywood fame actors Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan will be seen as guests talking about their experience of working together in the film ‘Student of the Year’. Student of the Year was the first film for both actors, including Alia Bhatt.
Karan said while conversing with the actors, “I still remember with Alia, the first time that she walked in, how both of you sent me messages saying you can’t cast her. One of you said she was too young. Three months after that photo shoot, I remember she stood quiet and didn’t look at either of you.”
In reply to that, Sidharth said, “I didn’t send you any message,” but denying that, Karan added, “You both did not want me to cast her. Stop pretending; you kept sending me images of other girls.” to which Sid added, “But see, that was what was wonderful that she was the underdog within the underdogs here already, then she emerged.”
The fifth episode of Koffee with Karan season 8 will premiere on November 23, 2023, featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.
