Director Rakesh Sashi, who entered into Telugu cinema with Vijetha, starring Kalyaan Dhev and Malvika Nair in the lead, came up with his second theatrical release earlier this year – Urvasivo Rakshasivo. The romantic comedy features Allu Sirish, Anu Emmanuel in the lead.
The film is jointly produced by Vijay M and Dheeraj Mogilineni under GA2 Pictures and Shri Tirumala Productions. The film, which hit theatres in November also available on OTT platforms.
Telugu OTT platform AHA acquired the post streaming rights of Urvasivo Rakshasivo and the film is made available from December 9. Along with AHA, this romantic drama is also available on Netflix.
Urvasivo Rakshasivo is the Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, that originally starred Harish Kalyan and Ria Wilson. The Tamil version become a hit on its release, while the remake too opened to positive reviews but not become a hit.
The movie is released on a high expectation note, but at last found to be failed to meet that expectations. The movie plot revolves the Allu Sirish who is an IT employee from a middle class family. The parents of him wishes to select a lady for their son. Allu Sirish found Anu Emmanuel at his work space. How Sirish convinces her to marry him is the remaining part.
But the entire scene is full reverse to the theatre results, the film stans on top position in AHA platform and in the fourth of Netflix trending list.
The duo Anup Rubens and Achu Rajamani have scored the music for the film which has cinematography by Tanveer Mir Karthika Srinivas is the editor, while the production design is handled by Srinagendra Tangala. Babu is the executive producer and Allu Aravind is the presenter.
