The film ‘Pathaan’ is an espionage action-thriller film helmed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra and has been well received by the people. Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham are the lead roles in this film.
This film was released on January 25, 2023, on the occasion of Republic Day. Before its release, the movie grabbed much hype to fire the box office. Even the people were surprised to see the new look of Shahrukh Khan in the teaser. The teaser of the film got 22 million views and more than 1 million likes on YouTube in less than 2 days.
However, the film faced several objections from Hindu protesters before its release. The film’s song Besharam Rang sparked controversy when Hindutva groups alleged that the song promoted obscenity. She also said that the song disrespects the saffron colour as actress Deepika Padukone is seen in a saffron bikini in the song.
After a nonstop run at the world box office, finally, the actioner is all set to air in the digital space arena. Reportedly, the film is in the top spot regarding the collections in the Hindi belt region surpassing Baahubali 2.
According to reports, this action movie will debut on OTT on March 22. It is anticipated that the announcement will occur soon. The official OTT release of the movie may contain deleted sequences.
