Actress Raashii Khanna, one of the stars of ‘Farzi,’ shared exciting updates about ‘Farzi 2.’ She confirmed that the sequel is slated to begin production early next year. “Raj sir and DK sir have a lot on their plate right now. They have Citadel Honey Bunny coming up, and then there’s The Family Man 3. After that, they will probably move on to Farzi 2. According to the information I have, the shoot will start in 2025,” Raashii said.
Reflecting on her experience working alongside Shahid and Vijay, Raashii praised their talents and authenticity. “He (Vijay) is who he is, and he doesn’t pretend to be anything but himself. I love that about him. As for Shahid, I love his versatility as an actor,” she added.

Notably, Shahid Kapoor had previously confirmed the development of ‘Farzi 2’ during a masterclass. However, he expressed uncertainty about the timing of the shoot.
“Farzi 2 will happen, and if anything else I like, I will, but as of now, I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT because I had two releases this year, so I’m going to do some stuff for theatres now. But Farzi 2 will definitely happen,” he stated. Shahid mentioned that post-production for such projects typically takes one-and-a-half to two years, with the series being dubbed in 35-40 languages and released in over 200 countries. He concluded by noting that once the shoot commences, it will take an additional two years for ‘Farzi 2‘ to be released.
