Scam 2003 -The Telgi Story
Scam 2003 -The Telgi Story is a thriller film helmed by Hansal Mehta and directed by Tushar Hiranandani. The series follows the story of India’s biggest stamp paper scam and the man beyond it, Abdul Karim Telgi. It is the second instalment in the scam franchise, followed by Scam 1992.
The series follows the real-life story of Abdul Telgi, who was involved in the 2003 stamp paper counterfeiting scandal worth INR 30,000 crores.
The trailer looks so natural and authentic to the real story. The amount of hard work to create this type of series is commendable. It is blissful to watch the legendary actor of Marathi cinema, Bharat Jadhav. He nailed the role with his perfection and stellar performance. This series is going to be very crazy. The last shot of the trailer gives me the vibes of the Harshad Mehta story. Maker did the best thing in hiring the regional actor Bharat Jadhav for Abdul Karim Telgi, as he looked terrific as Telgi.
The series is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Studio NEXT and is scheduled to premiere on the Ott platform Sony Liv on 1st September.
