The Hotel Del Luna actor Yeo Jin Goo is considered for the role of Park Yeong in the upcoming historical drama. After Jo Byung Gyu declined the role, Yeo Jin Goo was considered for Noh Jong Chan’s directorial. The actor is reportedly in talks for the role and has yet to confirm if he will be a part of the drama.
Jo Byung Gyu declined the role due to prior commitments and date clashes. Jo Byung Gyu’s agency, HD Entertainment, confirmed the news and revealed the reason.
The drama Serenade also referred by it’s romanized title Saeraenadae is a prince’s love story set in the Joseon Dynasty. who falls in love with a poor maiden, the actor reportedly is offered the role of Park Yeong, a Joseon Prince who pretends to be an unemployed citizen of the country. The actor is also reported to be considering the role.
