Rajkumar Hirani is one of the most successful and acclaimed filmmakers in the Indian film industry. The director, who never saw flop at the theatres, is currently basking in the box office success of his recent release Dunki, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, with whom he joined hands for the first time.
The Dunki director officially confirmed his upcoming OTT debut. He stated that he is making his debut in OTT with 12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey. He shared, “I’m doing an OTT show, which we actually start shooting this month. I’m a showrunner for that. I’m not directing it. It’s a show for Hotstar (Disney+ Hotstar), and Vikrant Massey is playing a role in it.”
Hirani further added that the show is in his space, which is something he is very happy about with the script and the way it has panned out. He also stated that he is very much involved with this show and his own space. He also shared about the franchise of Munna Bhai, saying he doesn’t want to make it anytime now.
