Farzi is a Hindi comedy crime thriller web series created and directed by the critically acclaimed filmmaking duo Raj Nidomoru and Krishna Dasarakothapalli, who also co-wrote the series with Sita Menon and Suman Kumar.
Farzi is the story of Sunny played by Shahid Kapoor, an artist driven by income inequality in India after failing to keep his grandfather’s printing press in business, He decides to team with his best friend Firoz played by debutant Bhuvan Arora to make counterfeit money and his greed for money makes him to team up with a gangster Mansoor Played by critically acclaimed artist Kay kay Menon, who eventually kill his grandfather.
Vijay Sethupathi was brilliant and amazing as Michael, a special task force officer who is after a counterfeit money scam, and his dialogue delivery is so funny. Shahid’s screen presence is astonishing and the debutant Bhuvan Arora’s acting and body language is very impressive. Kay Kay Menon absolutely nailed the gangster role like a pro. Directors Raj and DK took filmmaking to the next level. The cinematography by Pankaj Kumar is quite amazing. Farzi is Raj and DK’s best production design after the family man series. Farzi is trending in the top 10 even after the months of its release on Amazon Prime.
