Prabhas’s Salaar OTT release, Run Time and no Hindi dubbed version! Why?

Actor Prabhas doesn’t need any introduction, especially for Indiana and Japanese audiences post-Bahubali. His recent blockbuster Salaar, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, directed by Prashanth Neel, shattered records at the box office.

This week is a celebration for fans waiting for the actor’s film to be launched on OTT. Netflix officially confirmed that Salaar-Part 1: Ceasefire will drop on the streaming platform on January 20. While the has announced that the Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil versions of the KGF director’s latest action-drama saga will drop on the streaming service, there’s still no news on when the Hindi-dubbed version will hit Netflix, which is rumored to also have its rights.

Netflix has announced that Salaar’s OTT version will have a runtime of 2 hours 55 minutes – which means that Prashanth and the film makers have resisted the urge to include any extra footage. It’s a good bet considering the film’s structure, which shuttles between the past and present of its lead characters and its central setting, the country of Khansaar.
