The Kashmir Files is one of the most interesting projects in recent times. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film has become a massive hit at the box office. Made on a budget of 30 Cr, the film collected an amount of 300+ Cr rupees at the global box office. Interestingly, the film was released on Zee5, but it failed to perform well.
The film was available on Zee5 in all languages, but unexpectedly, there was a poor response on the OTT. When the film was released in theatres, everyone wanted it to be available on OTT, but the makers delayed it and released it after all the buzz surrounding it.

Now, there is a poor reception for the film. Despite the film being available in multiple languages, the openings are reportedly fewer. Despite the film becoming a big hit at the box office, the makers did not promote it well when geared up for a release on OTT. Altogether, the film could not attract enough buzz.
