The year 2023 is coming to an end, and as we celebrate the novelty and joy of a new year, we asked Pinkvilla readers to vote on which South OTT show they would call the Best South OTT Show of 2023, and they have decided.
Dhootha, a web series starring Naga Chaitanya, was voted the best OTT show of 2023 by a margin of more than 50% of the readers. Dhootha was the winner out of seven competitors. The direction, screenplay, execution, story, cinematography, background score, and performance everything is too perfect. Naga Chaitanya gave his career best performances and Director Vikram K Kumar redefined the storytelling.
Dhootha is a Telugu language horror mystery thriller series starring Naga Chaitanya, who makes his OTT debut. The series was created and directed by Vikram K Kumar, who previously collaborated with Chay on the films Manam and Thank You.
The story follows Varma Avuduri, a corrupted journalist who comes into contact with a newspaper that predicts the events that will occur in his life. Since December 1, 2023, the show has been available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
