Berlin marks Netflix’s return to Money Heist, the hugely popular Spanish crime drama about a group of loveable rogues taking part in two high-stakes heists in Madrid.
Berlin, portrayed by Pedro Alonso. A terminally ill grand larcenist, jewel thief, and cracksman, he is the Professor’s second-in-command and brother. It is reported that the Professor cameo will be the highlight of the series.
Back in his golden age before the events of “Money Heist,” Berlin and a masterful gang gather in Paris to plan one of his most ambitious robberies ever. Berlin, the most complicated person from the Money Heist, is back with another Money Heist, this time for more drama as he is joined in the hands of Raquel Murillo and Alicia. Despite his death, Berlin appears in the main role in part 3 through the flashbacks to several years, showing his original planning of the Bank of Spain heist and being married to a woman named Tatiana.
Some heists, like some love stories, are irresistible. From the world of Money Heist, Berlin is coming to Netflix on December 29th.
