Karan Johar is about to show us what goes behind the curtains of showbiz. Showtime, directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar and created by Sumit Roy and showrunner Mihir Desai, will explore the hidden world behind the scenes.
On Friday, Karan Johar posted a video on his Instagram account that included several well-known actors and actresses from the entertainment industry, including Mouni Roy, Emraan Hashmi, Rajeev Khandelwal, and others. The lavish and opulent sets and the celebrities getting ready for the shoot are showcased in the teaser.
The initial look of the show Showtime was released last year in December 2023, with a post on Instagram that read, “Welcome to a world that functions on – lights, camera & action! Entangled in the power struggle, “Showtime” is a web series that will draw boundaries…only to cross them. #HotstarSpecials #Showtime, coming 2024 only on Disney+ Hotstar!”
Showtime will release on 8 March 2024 and will stream on Hotstar. Meanwhile, KJo returned to the director’s chair last year with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film starred Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead and became a major critical and commercial success.
