The agency for Ji Chang-Wook has apologized after a recent video of the actor smoking indoors caused a stir. Chang-Wook “recognizes his behavior was improper, and he feels sorry for disappointing many people,” according to Soompi. On January 26, a behind-the-scenes film from Chang-Wook’s current drama Welcome to Samdal-ri was made public. In it, the actor could be seen smoking an electronic cigarette indoors.
In a statement released on Sunday, Chang-Wook’s agency, Spring Company, said, “Hello, this is Spring Company. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by Ji Chang-Wook’s behavior in the behind-the-scenes footage from his drama, which was made available to the public on January 26. One instance in particular from the behind-the-scenes footage showed actor Ji Chang-Wook smoking an electronic cigarette indoors. The scene brought discomfort to those who saw it as improper conduct.
