Shahid Kapoor’s recent sports drama ‘Jersey’ is set for an OTT premier. The movie is an official remake of the Nationwide Award-winning Telugu movie ‘Jersey’ and is titled identically.
Though the movie hasn’t achieved Blockbuster talk as the Tollywood movie Jersey did, Sahid Kapoor bagged appreciation from the audience for his acting.
Finishing its full-run at Box-office, now the movie is set to have its OTT premiere soon on Netflix. Announcing the same, the OTT platform Netflix released a poster indicating the digital launch of ‘Jersey’ on May 20.
Netflix took to their official Twitter and said, “If you see us tearing up, it’s because we just watched Jersey and we can’t wait for you to catch it too”. JERSEY ARRIVES ON NETFLIX ON 20TH MAY.”
Helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the ‘Jersey’ movie also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in vital roles.
