IU’s agency identifies the accuser…
Edam Entertainment, representing the Hotel Del Luna actress IU, has identified the accuser, who claimed that IU is responsible for plagiarism.
The anonymous accuser earlier this year, in May, suggested that IU has been part of the plagiarism of six songs; the actress and idol’s agency then took matters into their hands, claiming that the artist was not directly involved in composing any of those songs.The actress was accused of having plagiarised Good Day, The Red Shoes, Bbibbi, Pitiful, Boo, and Celebrity, which also happen to be a few of the hit songs of the artist.
The agency has filed a case against the accuser, and as the investigation took a further step, the Seoul Police revealed the accuser’s identity. The agency restrained them from disclosing his personal information. The agency has filed a defamation case and claimed a compensation of 30 Million Korean Won for having tried to damage the artist’s potential and creation. The actress and idol will be shortly witnessed in alongside BTS’s V as they collaborate for an upcoming music project, the collaboration marks Lee Ji Eun’s comeback.
