Venkatesh Daggubati who was popular as Victory Venkatesh started his career with Kaliyuga Pandavulu in 1986 and continued as an action hero until 1996. In 1996 the movie Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu Venkatesh attracted a huge family audience and carried the title family entertainer for decades.
Venkatesh gave blockbusters with family entertainers like Pavitra Bandham, Raaja, Sankranthi, Vasantam and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. It is not easy for any actor to have such a successful career in the family genre.
Recently Venkatesh made his debut in OTT with Rana Naidu. While it was his debut series all his fans expected a good conceptual series with family drama or an action entertainer. But to everyone’s surprise, Rana Naidu contained some strong language and intense intimate scenes, which is not suggestable to watch with family. Fans are confused why Venkatesh made a such foolish move. If it is for the sake of money, they already had enough. For fame, they had a legacy built.
This is Venky and Rana’s first series together and their debut in OTT. Let’s hope their experiment entertains and receives a good response from the audience.
