Samantha’s latest movie Shaakuntalam hit the screens on April 14th and bagged mixed responses. Directed by Gunasekhar, it is presented by Dil Raju via Sri Venkateswara Creations in collaboration with Gunaa Teamworks and is produced by Neelima Guna.
Meanwhile, on Monday, April 17, Samantha shared a photo on Instagram stories. This photo hinted at her next activity. In it, we see her footwear. The actress tagged Raj and DK and Sita R Menon. A GIF of an aeroplane accompanied the photo. It has been reported the team behind her upcoming web series Citadel will soon be filming key scenes in Serbia and South Africa.
Fans are quite excited to see this new team of Varun and Samantha on-screen. The show promises a lot of action. A few days back, Samantha had dropped a picture of her injured hands while shooting for the series.
Billed as a “local original spy series”, the project hails from Prime Video and AGBO, the production banner co-founded by the Hollywood filmmaking duo Russo Brothers.
