Previously Soo Bin, Aespa’s Winter, and a Korean-Japanese Girl band Iz*One’s Jo Yuri were reported to play a crucial role in the series. While Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha-Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-Neul, Park Sung-hoon, and Yang Dong-Geun were reported to have finalized their roles and Ha Wi Jun and Gong Yoo are set to be part of the sequel.
“Ready for more SQUID GAME news? Park Gyu-young, Jo Yu-ri, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Lee Jin-uk, Choi Seung-Hyun, Roh Jae-won, and Won Ji-an are joining us for Season 2!” Tweeted the team. Reports suggest that Choi Yu Ri has bagged the female lead role in the series.
