Tamil music composer-turned-actor Vijay Antony gained popularity among Telugu audiences with the 2016 blockbuster “Bichagadu”. Since then, Vijay Antony has been consistently acting in lead roles, but none of his films have been able to match the success of “Bichagadu”.
Now, after six years since the release of “Bichagadu”, the sequel hit the screens on May 19. Directed by Vijay Anthony himself, the movie Bichagadu 2 was produced by Fatima Vijay under the banner of Vijay Anthony Film Corporation. After hitting theatres, the movie garnered some positive reviews from all sides of the audience.
Along with direction, Vijay Antony even scored musicals for this sequel. Alongside Vijay Antony, the movie features Kavya Thapar, Dev Gill, Harish Peradi, and Radha Krishnamoorthy in important roles. The film is being produced by Fathima Vijay Antony under the banner of Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
The satellite rights for the film have been acquired by Star Network Entertainment, a prominent entertainment channel, while the post-theatrical rights have been secured by Disney Plus Hotstar. Can this sequel get the same response as the prequel?
