Superstar Mahesh is on cloud nine after passing Sarkaru Vari Pata in distinction. The film collected more than Rs 100 crores, and reportedly, Mahesh is pretty happy with the result. As of now, he is heading for his #SSMB28 project with Trivikram Srinivas. Currently, under pre-production, Trivikram is heard to be very particular about casting in this movie. According to sources, there is a role in the film which starts negative and turns positive as the movie progresses. Similar to Sushanth’s role in ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ or Rahul Ravindran’s character in Srimanthudu.
Trivikram has plans to cast any young star in this role. Most probably, one of Nithin or Sharawanand might land in this project, says sources. Sharwa has done a lot of multistarrer films and supporting roles early in his career. He may accept the offer considering the stature of Mahesh and Trivikram. On the other hand, Nithin too is very close with the A Aa director. He also may not turn down the offer out of respect for Trivikram. It’s interesting to see which one of these stars will play the supporting role. Coming SSMB28, it has Pooja Hegde and Samyukta Menon as female leads. SS Thaman provides the tunes while Haarika and Hassine Creations are bankrolling the project. This is the third movie in the Mahesh-Trivikram combo after Athadu and Khaleja.
