Yashoda is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language action thriller written and directed by Hari Sankar and Hari Narayan. It stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the titular role. Samantha and the directors Hari Sankar and Hari Narayan planned to make a bilingual movie and release it both in Telugu and Tamil. Still, later they dropped this idea and released it only in Telugu. This is why we will see many Tamil cast in this movie.
This movie’s digital streaming rights were already bought by Amazon prime video, and it is streaming amazon prime video. Now the latest buzz is that the satellite rights of this movie were sold to ETV for a whopping amount.
Varalakshmi Saratkumar played the female antagonist role in this movie and made her role one hundred percent successful. The cast includes Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Kalpika Ganesh, Priyanka Sharma, and Divya Sripada in prominent roles.
This film’s music was composed by Mani Sharma, while M. Sukumar and Marthand K. Venkatesh, respectively, handled the cinematography and editing. The film was released on 11 November 2022. Yashoda received mixed reviews from critics and was a success at the box office.
