Yami Gautam took to social media and posted the teaser of her upcoming film ‘Article 370’. Yami Gautam is celebrated for her remarkable performances in films such as Badlapur, Uri: The Surgical Strike, and Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga. She is set to take on the role of an intelligence agent in her upcoming movie Article 370.
The teaser starts with a few shots mirroring the serene beauty of Kashmir, which gets (rightfully) referred to as ‘India’s Crowning Glory’. This is followed by a few highly horrific shots of revolt and agitation with ‘terrorism’, ‘corruption’ and ‘separatism’ seeping in between! Post this comes a powerful statement that states, “Kashmir mein terrorism ek dhandha hai. (In Kashmir, terrorism is a business). It has nothing to do with hazards, but it has everything to do with money”.
The 1.40 min long teaser showcases the OMG 2 actress’s action-packed persona, concluding with a gripping scene of her pointing a gun, blood dripping from her nose, and the announcement of the abrogation of Article 370. Priya Mani Raj looks powerful in her role.
Besides Yami Gautam, the film also stars an ensemble cast including Priyamani, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, Kiran Karmarkar, Divya Seth, Raj Zutshi and Irawati Harshe in all-important roles. The film was directed by the National Award-winner Aditya Suhas Jambhale and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. The film has been scheduled for a theatrical release on 23rd February 2024.
