Nargis Fakhri is originally an American actress-model who’s ethnicity traces down to part Europian part South-Asian. The last name ‘Fakhri’ comes from her Pakistani father while her mother is a Czech. Keeping that diversity alive in her blood, she’s been cast in famous movies you’d be shocked to find out. Predominantly working as an actress in Hindi films, she rightly titles herself as a global citizen. Ranbir Kapoor‘s Rockstar and Main Tera Hero, Madras Cafe, Housefull 3, Azhar, Commando 2, Krrish 3, Phata Poster Nikla Hero and many others. If you’ve watched these movies, you’d figure Fakhri is all about comedy and action. She’s currently working on her OTT debut Tatlubaaz.
But, when it comes to exploring other genres in the industry, how far is Fakhri willing to go? She was asked if she’d like to go naked for a project. Now, it’s noteworthy that there are photos of Fakhri in a topless photoshoot from the past. But when you hear what the Rockstar actress answered, you’d realize a lot has changed.
“I would never be naked for a project. I have a problem with nudity,” was her response. She further expressed that she’s still eager to perform characters pertaining to s*xual orientations, and about the LGBTQIA+ community. She said that nudity is obviously not something that can be watch with families. But, there’s always a choice to switch it off or choose a different movie to watch, if a particular type of content is bothersome.
With various people and groups coming ahead about the freedom to choose, nudity has become increasingly popular. Several celebrities are seen promoting the same. Under the name of ‘freedom’, what limit do you think is permissible?
