Karnataka fame Rishabh Shetty’s “Kantara” in news everywhere from past few days. The film is still running to packed houses in Karnataka in its third week.
It is a film, that is based in a small town in coastal area of Karnataka and mainly focussed on the cultures and traditions from that region. The success for the film is quite phenomenal. Rishabh Shetty is the back bone to the entite film.
With a positive word of mouth publicity the film is still running at the box office with house full boards. As per trade sources, the film already passed over 100 crores in gross and still need in more to pass 100 crores as net collections. But as this storm it is not so hard for kantara to collect 100 crores only in karnataka.
Recently, the film is released in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. Outside karnataka also the film proves the stamina as here also getting housefull everywhere.
If this run continues for next week, it will be a cake walk for this movie to collect 100 crores and to break KGF-1 collections too. And also ticket prices are less also when compared to KGF and there is no rise in ticket price for kantara.
