From Baahubali to Vikram, the south films have started to engulf the Bollywood and the Hindi belt. Baahubali’s two parts, KGF’s two parts, Pushpa, Vikram, and Major, have all done extraordinarily in Bollywood, while the Hindi films failed to impress the audience one after the other. Especially Telugu Films are slowly gaining the market of Bollywood, which has become a concern for the Hindi film industry. As a result, Bollywood big wigs are doing their best to make the drive back to its pinnacle. But they do not seem to have achieved any success yet.
Bollywood filmmakers are opting for a huge magnum opus kind of movie in their quest to attract an audience. They are even remaking the south superhit films, too, hoping to see success. Nothing has worked so far. Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithvi Raj bombed miserably at the box office. Except for the Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, no other flick has succeeded. Now, Hindi film people’s hopes rest on Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera and Brahmastra. Brahmastra has already gained enough craze with the trailer and teasers. The recently released Shamshera trailer, too, looks promising. Sanjay Dutt, the film’s antagonist, is sporting a look similar to KGF 2 and looks menacing. The trailer is receiving positive comments from the audience. Shamshera will be out on the 22nd of next month, while Brahmastra will hit the silver screens on September 9th. Can Ranbir bring back the lost glory of Bollywood? Will Bollywood be successful in getting back to the top? Let’s wait and see.
