The pre-release event in Hyderabad was nothing less than a celebration, with superstar Mahesh Babu and the great director of the Indian film industry, S.S. Rajamouli, gracing the event.

It was experienced in the pre-release when the audience eagerly waited for Mahesh and Rajamouli rather than Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Vanga. Rajamouli, on stage, said that the Indian film industry had only two directors who changed the trend of direction and screenplay and who could show the story in its authentic and raw form, saying the first one was Ram Gopal Verma and the second would be Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
