Why is the demand so high for Vaishnav?

Panja Vaishnav Tej has completed just two films in the Telugu Film Industry. He first acted in small roles on Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Shankar Dada MBBS, Andarivadu and Pawan Kalyan’s Johnny as a child. As his elder brother Sai Dharam Tej has slowly but steadily settled in the Tollywood, Vaishnav too entered the films with Uppnena. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Megastar Chiranjeevi himself took care of everything regarding Uppena’s script. He encouraged Buchi to continue with the climax, which has an unexpected twist. Chiru’s judgment was spot on and the movie went on to become a hit. The film’s success can be attributed to a lot of stakeholders in that project like Buchi Babu, Chiranjeevi, Sukumar, Devi Sri Prasad than Vaishnav himself.

His Second movie is Kondapolam was a dud. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and loosely based on a novel of the same name, the flick didn’t do too well at the box office. So, in a general sense, Vaishnav is a hero with no proven track record but just a mega backing. How many movies can he get? How much can a production house trust him with their money? Yet, many producers are lining up to make movies with this mega hero. A relatively newbie with neither star power nor a bankable career yet, why is he in so much demand? Is the mega family tag helping Vaishnav? Even with the backup, a lot of star kids are struggling to find good scripts and production houses. These are the questions that are bugging the cine observers.
