Jawan director Atlee, who is on a winning streak, is expected to produce four films under his production company. The first film will be the Varun Dhawan-Keerthy Suresh starrer VD18. Two Tamil movies and a Telugu one to follow.
In a recent interview, Atlee revealed that Shah Rukh Khan inspired him to produce films. He said, “Shah Rukh sir inspired me, not just as an actor, but also as a producer. I have learned the craft from spending four years with him.

The filmmaker disclosed that his next film as a producer will be Varun Dhawan’s Hindi film, tentatively called VD18, which also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. He also specified that two Tamil and Telugu films are in the works and will be announced soon. Director Atlee disclosed that he is co-producing a film with Varun Dhawan in the lead role. The film is said to be about a DCP who travels and transforms himself to save his family from the evils chasing them.
Atlee has also confirmed that he has three more projects lined up in his productions: two will be Tamil movies, and another will be a Telugu movie. Varun Dhawan shared that this much-awaited Atlee movie will be released on May 31, 2024.
