It’s interesting to note that SS Rajamouli, the director of the film ‘RRR‘, has taken the initiative to promote the movie on the international stage, reportedly spending his own money to do so. This is despite the fact that the film’s producer, DVV Danayya, spent over 400 crores on the movie’s production and marketing in India.
It seems that Danayya may have backed down from promoting the film internationally, leaving Rajamouli to take on the producer’s responsibilities as well.
While there are rumors that Rajamouli spent around 83 crores from his own pocket to promote ‘RRR‘, the movie’s international success is a huge achievement for Telugu cinema, and the expenses are likely to be recouped through increased profits and opportunities for future projects.
However, it is strange that Danayya’s name has not been associated with the film’s international success, given his significant investment in the project. It remains to be seen how this situation will play out and what impact it will have on future collaborations between Rajamouli and Danayya.
