The current trending animated series What If from Marvel Studios answers all of the fans’ questions in unconventional ways using various theories and timelines.
The MCU multiverse suggests that, unlike Bruce Banner’s Hulk or Iron Man’s death in Avengers: Endgame, Captain Carter could have survived Iron Man’s Infinity Stones snap without consequences.
According to the MCU multiverse, another Avenger could have survived Iron Man’s Endgame snap. The Infinity Stones, used in the season 2 finale of Marvel’s What If…?, prevent a major crisis, but Captain Carter, the one wielding them, survives without repercussions, unlike Bruce Banner’s Hulk or Iron Man’s death in Avengers: Endgame.
In Avengers: Endgame, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes gather the Infinity Stones to resurrect the fallen. Thanos attacks them right away, attempting to reset reality. Doctor Strange confirms that using the Stones to erase the Mad Titan and his forces was the only way to save the day. But, what if…? Captain Carter, according to Season 2, could have wielded the Stones as well.
Captain Peggy Carter uses the Infinity Stones from the previous season’s finale, which were used by Infinite Ultron and Erik Killmonger to fight Strange Supreme, in the season 2 finale episode of What If…? She incorporates Killmonger’s armor and Stones into her suit, providing protection comparable to the standard Infinity Gauntlet or Tony Stark’s nano-gauntlet. Strange uses dark magic to free the Stones from Carter’s grasp, heightening the tension in the confrontation.
