As the Sankranthi is the biggest movie festival, moviegoers with high expectations went to theatres and made two true blockbusters for this year. The movies are Balayya’s Veerasimha Reddy and Chiru’s Waltair Veerayya.
Going into detail, the movies have fantastic runs at the theatres and overseas, and both are running towards becoming the highest grosser for Chiru and NBK.
In comparison, at first, Veerasimha Reddy tops the list with the unexpected rise in sales on the international market. After the release, the Waltair Veerayya gave a supreme fight contest for Veerasimha Reddy.
On the other hand, Kollywood movies are also released along with these, but they still need to meet the expectations and impress the audience as our films did. Let’s look at what our films did overseas in the first weekend.
The combined overseas number of Waltair Veerayya is 2.36 million dollars ( Rs 19. 4 crore), and for Veerasimha Reddy, it is 1.376 $ million ( 11. 4 crores).
Waltair Veerayya will surpass Syra, the highest-grosser for Chiru in the international market. In contrast, Akhanda will move to the second spot, which Veerasimha Reddy confirms as the highest-grosser for NBK.
